Cold-weather jumper

Cold-weather jumper

Good morning my dear knitters/crocheters,

So, after the baby fever series (start reading from here), I thought I’d go through all the projects I’ve made so far but have not posted about yet. This post is about a gorgeous hooded jumper for those cold cold months when you just want to curl up on the sofa with a blanket, a book and a mug of tea/coffee/cocoa. Unfortunately, I did not get to wear it that much because, well, Malta’s winters are becoming less and less cold, except for a few very cold weeks here and there. However, I still adore this and will wear it every chance that I get.

Baby fever (part 5)

Baby fever (part 5)

Good morning dear knitters/crocheters,

It’s another week and it’s time for the final part (for now at least) of the baby fever series. Like I said in other posts, I always try to find something different for each item in order to be unique. I did find a beautiful pattern on Pinterest but it was in Russian (Russians come up with such intricate and fantastic designs). However, I did find a translation into English done by a group of knitters who absolutely loved the pattern as much as I did… Sadly, it didn’t really work out…

Baby fever (part 4)

Baby fever (part 4)

Hello fellow knitters/crocheters,

Another post, another baby project. Another girl 🙂 Welcome to Part four of the baby fever series! In this part, I made this adorable and delicate set for a little girl with a head full of dark curly hair 🙂 This little girl belongs to another wonderful friend of mine who has a taste for delicate things so I looked hard for a great pattern to fit her tastes. And after a good amount of hunting around, I found the perfect one!

Baby fever (part 3)

Baby fever (part 3)

Good morning fellow knitters and crocheters,

As promised here is part 3 of the baby fever series. If you haven’t read the other two parts yet, you can find part 1 here and part 2 here.

This time, the set was for a baby girl my oldest best friend was having, plus a little something extra special which I made for the first time and hope to be making more of in the future.

Baby fever (part 2)

Baby fever (part 2)

Hello my dear knitters and crocheters,

As promised, here is part 2 of the baby fever series. It’s for boys again but this time it’s twins. As I said in my previous post (if you haven’t read it yet, you can read it here), there was somewhat of a baby boom this past year and a half, all connected to really good and close friends of mine and of course, I wanted to make something for them all. Let’s face it, baby items are cute and if they’re hand-made, even cuter!

Baby fever (part 1)

Baby fever (part 1)

Hello knitters (and crocheters),

Yes, I know it’s been a while. Many things have happened since the last time I posted; most significantly, I started a new job and I’m sorry to say I’ve let the blogs slide. I haven’t let the knitting slide though.

Last year was an eventful year with regards to babies. I’ve had two friends give birth to boys and another three friends announce they were pregnant, with girls. Of course, I had to make something for them!

Changes coming soon

Changes coming soon

Hello everybody!

Hope your week has been great. This post is going to be a little different because I’d like to tell you about a new venture I’ve embarked on together with my parents. We are going to start making wire jewellery and other things made with wood, clay, etc. Together we thought we could incorporate everything together with the knitting and start selling things online.

Therefore, this blog will no longer be just for knitting but it will also be talking about all the jewellery and other hand-made items we make. Of course, the name will also change and we already have the name in place. We have the domain name and the website is currently under construction. Everything will be revealed in time…

Everything is so exciting at the moment for all of us here. We can’t wait to have our logo and to start putting up pictures of items for sale. We have to start small of course but we have been doing all of these things (except for the jewellery) for a long time and we can’t wait to show you what we have so far and what we will be doing in the future!

I shall leave off here this time. Meanwhile, I hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you soon! ❤
